Yukari was born and raised in Japan and moved to Canada in 1998. One of her first jobs in Canada was working for the Canadian College of Film and Acting. Watching student films, seeing acting showcases, and participating in evening acting workshops fuelled Yukari’s interest in the theatre arts. When not enjoying local Victoria shows, Yukari is the owner of Lucid Communication, a consulting firm providing a variety of services to Japanese and Canadian clients. Yukari recently finished her 4-year board term with Intrepid Theatre. She is also a podcast producer and enjoys being a watercolour artist on her spare time.
