Guest Faculty (Acting for Screen)

In a varied career directing award winning BBC drama, documentaries and theatre Richard brings a broad range of experience to his work. He has directed feature films such as ‘A Christmas Star’ (featuring Liam Neeson and Pierce Brosnan) and documentaries such as ’78 Breaths’ (Sheffield Doc/Fest winner) and Netflix’s ‘Shadow Trade’, an undercover investigation into Thailand’s illegal dogmeat trade. On stage he is known for his work on an award winning series of plays about the prison system in the UK covering themes of abuse and mental health and has directed plays in West End fringe venues and around the UK. He is a regular guest lecturer at several London film and acting schools such as East 15, Arts Ed, UAL and MetFilm.
