We respectfully acknowledge the Lək̓ʷəŋən speaking peoples, now known as the Songhees and Xʷsepsəm/Esquimalt Nations, on whose territory our College stands and we gather today. We recognize the Lək̓ʷəŋən People's historic relationship with the land from time immemorial. We offer our gratitude and honour the responsibility to them and the land as we learn, create, and perform here.
