He works with students of all ages and levels of experience in his home studio. Describing his core philosophy behind teaching, he says: “The voice is a means of communication. It is essential that we, as singers and artists, have the necessary tools to produce the sounds that different styles of music require. Only then can we sing and convey the meaning of the text as well as the music with complete freedom and ease. My mission is to help my students discover their own authentic voice and empower them to use it with confidence as a means of expressing themselves”.
Adam is the music director at Fairfield United Church which worships at United Commons, formerly First Metropolitan United Church, on Quadra street. He is currently the president of the Victoria Chapter for NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing). To learn more about Adam go to: adamdyjach.com
