Alexa is a graduate of the Canadian College of Performing Arts. Since graduating she has been active across disciplines in the Victoria arts scene, dancing, performing and choreographing for music videos, choreographing for an Atomic Vaudeville production, dancing with local contemporary dance company Broken Rhythms, performing as a vocal soloist with the West Coast Reach Association, and soon to be acting in a short film as well as a Victoria Fringe play. Alexa has also been active as a dance instructor in town, teaching tap at the College, ballet and jazz at Boston Dance Collective, and this year joining Raino Dance to teach contemporary, lyrical, ballet and street jazz. Alexa also specializes in arts and theatre for children. She has created and implemented a week-long dance-theatre camp at St. Michael’s University and has spent multiple summers facilitating Painted Turtle Arts Camps for children in First Nations communities across BC.
