Ms. Tooby-MacDonald successfully operated her own school of dance for 35 years, aiding students to achieve recognition with performance and choreography awards at local, provincial, national and international levels. A progressive, energetic and dedicated teacher, Janice has trained with major LA and New York faculties throughout Canada and the U.S. This has allowed her to further her knowledge of the art of tap dance under the tutelage of such international dance luminaries as Savion Glover, Gregory Hines, Al Gilbert, Dianne Walker, Arthur Duncan, Heather Cornell and Henry LeTang. With an extensive background in dance, Janice has over 40 years of teaching experience and knowledge in tap, ballet, jazz and musical theatre. She is proud to be a member of the teaching faculty of the Canadian College Of Performing Arts since its inception in 1998.
