Dorothy Hawes

Dorothy is excited to be a part of the board for the Canadian College of Performing Arts. She has always been passionate about the Arts and how they help shape lives, create perspective, and further our understanding of the world around us. As a writer, musician, educator, and parent of a graduated CCPA student, Dorothy recognizes the potential of the college to help develop and prepare young people from all across Canada for meaningful and rewarding careers in the performing arts. Dorothy is a teacher at St. Michaels University School in Victoria, B.C. where she teaches senior level English. She has also been involved in fundraising efforts for various organizations over the past two decades.
