SPOTLIGHT ON ALUMNI: Jennifer Fontaine

My time at CCPA was an important stepping stone to becoming an artist. It gave me the confidence and drive I needed to perform, direct, musically direct and even to open a musical theatre school and production company. When I first arrived at CCPA, I never dreamed my path was possible. I am grateful for the learning opportunities, the growth, the memories, my colleagues, friends I made and the lessons I learned. Thank you to Jacques, Janis and the entire CCPA family for guiding me through what were truly some of the best years of my life.

Jennifer Fontaine is a successful Musical Theatre Business owner and teacher in the National Capital Region. Ain and t Seen Noth’n Yet Productions (ASNY Productions) is a musical theatre school and production company that gives opportunities to local talent since 2006. The studio runs all year round with classes, workshops and summer programs. ASNY produced Les Misérables and Mary Poppins to sold out crowds at Centrepointe Main Stage holding just short of one thousand seats which has helped us become a household name in the community.

ASNY has recently opened their own rehearsal facilities where more classes, rehearsals and training can happen on a daily basis. ASNY runs 7 days a week and feels like a home to all ASNYites. Jennifer is very proud of its growth over the years and is thrilled to be able to offer more opportunities. Her next production is Little Women presented at Centrepointe Studio Theatre in Ottawa Ontario February 1st to 11th.
