Ming pays rent and primarily works on the lands stolen from the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. She is a performer, deviser, facilitator, director, producer, and teacher who specializes in physical theatre and the creation of new work as a collective ensemble. A graduate of the Advanced Creating Theatre and Performance program at LISPA (now Advanced Devising Practice at arthaus.berlin), Ming also holds a MA in Ensemble Theatre (Rose Bruford), and a BFA in Acting (UVic).
Ming has worked for Green Thumb Theatre, Bard on the Beach, The Arts Club, Theatre Replacement, Atomic Vaudeville, The Firehall, and Boca del Lupo, Concrete Theatre, and Kaleidoscope Theatre. In addition, she has devised/written six new independent plays, which have been performed in five different countries.
Her current projects include: facilitating the creation of The Bright Young Things for the fall Risky Nights at Studio 58, and continuing to develop a new production of ANTIGONE (adapted by her creative partner, Kate Besworth) for a premiere in summer 2022.
