Since graduating from the Canadian College of Performing Arts’ “Company C” Studio Ensemble program in 2016, Maia has worked around Victoria as an actor, projection & sound designer, and stage manager.
Some of Maia’s performance credits include Be Still (hapax theatre), The Giver, Pippi Longstocking, James and the Giant Peach (Kaleidoscope), and Love’s Labour’s Lost (GVSF). Since graduating, she has designed projections for numerous shows at the College, including Middletown, The Penelopiad, Working, Cabaret, and The Triangle Factory Fire Project. Other projection designs: The Giver, When the Sun Crosses the Line, Pinocchio (Kaleidoscope), and The Little Prince (Chemanius). She has stage managed Hedwig and the Angry Inch (Atomic Vaudeville), the CCPA Alumni Company’s inaugural production of Art Isn’t Easy / The Blind Pig (Canadian Heritage Arts Society), Cities and Girls (CCPA), and readings of The Incredible Glowing Woman (Ingrid Moore) and The Pansy Craze (Avery Jean Brennan).
Maia joined the team at the College in the summer of 2017.
